Ottawa Dressage Festival is pleased to welcome Western Style Dressage at this year's show.

Classes will include Test of Choice for Introductory, Basic, Levels 1 – 5 as well as a Freestyle Test of Choice class.

We are delighted to announce that @belinda_trussell has joined the Board of Directors of National Capital Dressage (NCD) Inc, the not-for-profit corporation that oversees the running of the Ottawa Dressage Festival. We feel athlete representation on the Board is vital for creating an athlete-centred culture within the organization and ensuring the needs of athletes are met. Belinda’s vast experience and knowledge will help ensure the Ottawa Dressage Festival continues to be a highlight on riders’ competition calendars and meets their development and competition needs.

Belinda has been coming to the Ottawa Dressage Festival since it started over 20 years ago and has an impressive competition record. She has represented Canada at two Olympic Games, the World Cup, four World Equestrian Games, the Pan American Games, and the European Championships. Belinda and her mount Anton helped secure Canada’s Team Silver medal at the 2015 Pan Am Games, which earned Canada an individual slot at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Belinda and Anton went on to set new Canadian records in Olympic dressage competition. Belinda owns and operates Oakcrest Farms, a dressage training facility in Stouffville, Ontario.

Mike Harrington, NCD President, said, “Belinda will be a positive addition to a very strong Board. The Board was unanimous in our decision that Belinda will be a perfect fit and we look forward to working with her as we plan for 2026 and beyond”.
